Empowering the next creative thinkers
Artitude 2024
Workshop | Expose | Internship | Job Camp | Art Prize
ALM Team update:
ALM team is working around the clock to ensure Artitude 2024 delivers an out-of-the-world experience while reaching as many schools as possible. We can only do so with your support.
Our research shows that pursuing art in Ghanaian senior high schools needs to be considered as important as all other courses. Most art students experience some form of discrimination from naysayers during their studies. The study also shows that most art students and naysayers were naive about the possibilities within the creative art space. Through hands-on mentorship, internship and exposé endeavours, the Artitude initiative aims to demystify this creative misconception (negative social behaviour towards the arts) while promoting art as a sustainable career. This project also gives the nation a unique opportunity to close the gap between what is taught in schools and the realities in the art and culture sector.
