Unfolding Artitude

Artitude 2025/2026
Providing communities with equal access to global opportunities in the creative arts space while demystifying creative misconceptions in Ghana and beyond.
The Artitude Project [EST, 2019] is a socially driven creative initiative that seeks to harness the transformative power of art to address pressing social, cultural, and environmental challenges. It aims to empower marginalised communities, preserve cultural heritage, promote sustainable economic development, and address the growing environmental crisis.
Since 2019, we have engaged over 5,000 young adults, 700 guardians, and 12 institutions, exposing our audience to the possibilities within the art and culture industries. The success of this project has created a demand beyond our capacity. In response to this demand, we are exploring partnerships which will unfold the Artitude experiences anywhere and anytime. We need your support to reach our goal.

Our research shows that pursuing art in Ghanaian senior high schools needs to be considered as important as all other courses. Most art students experience some form of discrimination from naysayers during their studies. The study also shows that most art students and naysayers were naive about the possibilities within the creative art space. Through hands-on mentorship, internship and exposé endeavours, the Artitude initiative aims to demystify this creative misconception (negative social behaviour towards the arts) while promoting art as a sustainable career. This project aims to inspire, celebrate and promote art as a tool for social, cultural and economic development.
