Our flagship initiative, Artitude [est 2019], has focused on art-based capacity-building programs, inspiring and enlightening over 5000 students in senior high, 700 guardians and 12 institutions on the diverse opportunities within the art and culture sector.
The success of the Artitude initiative has generated increased demand to significantly broaden its impact and reach even more individuals and communities. Institutions want frequent creative engagement, while individuals and guardians seek practical guidance to a sustainable creative career. Artlife Matters is determined to scale the Artitude project across Ghana, giving equal access to creative possibilities through the support of VeloConcerts.
VeloConcerts (VC) is an organisation that produces a sustainable, mobile stage that can unfold in minutes. It also uses this platform to promote diverse cultural initiatives via music, conversation, performance, and others.
The partnership is in two phases.
- ALM and VC have agreed to collaborate on a crowdfunding activity to raise £100,000 for the following.
- The building of a Velostage decorated with Artwork from the local team in Ghana
- To acquire art supplies and books for portable workshops and library experiences.
- To roll out the Artitude project to 55 schools in Ghana, positively impacting over 10,000 students
- ALM and VC will explore ways to establish a profitable business in Ghana that will
Implement a sustainable operational model by manufacturing and managing mobile stages in Ghana and West Africa.
Ghana has a young population without a strategic structure or programs to propel creative dreams. The Artitude project presents a renewed hope for using creativity to drive innovation, improve mental health balance, promote self-expression and personal development, and encourage the exchange of ideas and cooperation among individuals.
Join us in making the Artitude experiences mobile, accessible, and impactful for young adults in Ghana—because art matters, and so does their future!
